I feel like the 300 is a slouch and I'm on the pipe way more than I would have thought. I'm told I ride faster now, but I just feel like it's a slouch. Upon inspection after 40 hours, the head looked great, but the piston had some carbon build up, more so than my previous Gas Gas with double the hours. As far as having a head specifically for Beta, there is really no difference between the Beta head configuration and KTM.
